Freshly minted in late 2023, Pyrofon is an independent record label based in Scotland, dedicated to curating and releasing music that might otherwise slip through the cracks.

The name "Pyrofon" is a nod to the frankly ridiculous 19th Century instrument (pictured above) which made sound by triggering hydrogen explosions in varying lengths of glass tubes.
