Haunt Game
Matt Rogers & M. John Harrison
Over time, we come to be haunted by our previous selves, by their thoughts and words, the sounds they have heard and made. In Haunt Game, M. John Harrisonʼs text about a life in writing and Matt Rogersʼs music, a collaged retrospective, haunt themselves and each other.
Haunt Game is a music and spoken word piece by composer Matt Rogers and writer M. John Harrison. It was co-produced and mixed by Matt Rogers and Douglas Whates, and the spoken word and instrumental recordings were engineered by Douglas and Matt respectively.
This record was made possible by the generous support of Help Musicians. The words of the piece, which are performed by their author, are adapted from M. John Harrison's anti-memoir Wish I Was Here.
